Like all good things.... the AWP must come to an end....

All of us here that have worked for the Anipal Wedding Planners have enjoyed making wedding dreams come true. But sadly, the amount of time that it takes to create a wedding (3 months at the least of graphics work) has become more than some of us can devote. There are jobs, families, pets, and everything in between, that gets in the way.... or comes first, as it should.

So the AWP will no longer create weddings for pals.... though we would be happy to advise or give suggestions to others that might want to carry this on.

It has been great fun and we all have learned allot along the way. We have had some very creative brides that have wanted some awesome locations. I hope we have created weddings that will last in the anipals memories for a long time to come!

News Announcement!

We thought we were on to something with the Storify idea....
 sadly the Storify idea didn't pan out since they changed the way they allowed comments to be made. However, on the most recent wedding we did we tried using a blog and tweeting the links to the pages. Guests were able to comment on the pages.
We feel that this might be an easier way then tweeting the individual images with a timeline.
As you know weddings can be a busy and chaotic (but super fun) event to attend.
Often the 'speaking' parts of a wedding get lost.
If they are on the blog as an image and text they are there for everyone to see.

AWP NEWS!!

Everyone! We have lots of new news to share with you!

First of all I would like you to help me welcome our newest members to the AWP...

We know these pals will be a huge asset to our group in helping us get you the wedding of your dreams!

The next big exciting news is the AWP is changing the format of how we do the weddings.

Click HERE to see a sample of our new format.
We will be using Storify to share the wedding images on twitter.
The sample shows the wedding of Belle and Herman that we did in 2013. It's the full wedding, but for new weddings we will create 4 short 'stories' (arrival, ceremony, reception, depart) that the AWP will tweet every 20-30 minutes. This way it gives the wedding party, guests, attendees time to see the images and then chat about it. The bride and groom will still have vows, we will add them as an image with text. The same for those giving the toasts. This way everyone can see whats happening and the important parts of the wedding don't get overlooked because of all the tweeting. We want pals to tweet and have a good time, but we also want the bride and groom to be able to be heard...
We will still be dressing the wedding party and guests. We will still be creating all the images needed for the event. We will still have great music and noms and drinks. We will still have a great time!

And lastly, we are creating a Bridal Salon! Kim has been working hard on this to make it easier for the bride and groom to pick out the outfits, cake, flowers, etc for their special day.
We will be having a grand opening of the site soon!

I know you will enjoy the new format! We are looking forward to creating the weddings of our pals dreams!

We have exciting news! @BarbaraBpiwetz has joined the AWP as a graphic artist! She has made some exquisite avatars for upcoming weddings and we look forward to her growing her skills with us

Everyone! The AWP have exciting news! The Duchess of Bramley @HRHDuchessII has joined the AWP team to be head of our Image Research Division. She has quite the eye for these kinds of things and has been a huge asset to us already.

Please join me in welcoming our newest member to the AWP, Ms. KimberleyKoz! Kim has remarkable graphic artists skills and she will be joining Thomas and Dana in making wedding photos.

We are happy to announce some new exciting changes here at #AWP headquarters! Miss ShaynaCat has joined us as Entertainment Manager. She will be working closely with the DJs at the #AWP events.
And Otis and Mickey have branched off into the catering business with @AWPcatering and are creating exciting and gourmet noms for the #AWP events.
